What it does

1. Read the POD and match it to the load. A document that is not this load does not get attached to this invoice. A missing POD is chased on a clock, not discovered when the customer disputes the file.
2. Send the invoice with the POD attached. The customer gets the paperwork with the bill. The carrier payable is created on the same pass.
3. Catch billing exceptions before they age. A missing ref, a POD that does not match, a detention fact that is incomplete: those surface while the load is still fresh.
4. Chase the payment. Collections runs supervised, on the TMS you already keep. The note of what was sent sits with the load.
5. Draft the detention claim from facts. The POD and the in and out times. No invented amount. If the times are not there, the claim is not dressed up with a number nobody recorded.

What stays with your people
