What is Tender acceptance in freight?
Tender acceptance is the share of loads a carrier takes when offered them under contract, and it is the number that tells a shipper whether an award is real. A carrier can win a bid at an attractive rate and then accept only the loads that suit it, leaving the shipper to cover the rest at spot. Acceptance is therefore a better measure of a carrier relationship than the awarded rate.
