What is Quick pay in freight?
Quick pay is an option a broker offers a carrier to be paid in a few days instead of on standard terms, in exchange for a small percentage of the invoice. It competes directly with factoring and is often cheaper for the carrier because there is no ongoing contract. Brokers use it as a lever to win capacity on tight lanes without raising the line haul.
