What is Freight invoice in freight?

A freight invoice is the bill for a completed move, listing the line haul, fuel surcharge, and any accessorials. It normally cannot be sent until the signed proof of delivery is in hand, which is why missing paperwork directly delays cash. Disputes over accessorials are the most common reason an invoice is short paid.
