What is Days sales outstanding in freight?
Days sales outstanding is the average number of days it takes to collect payment after invoicing. It is the single clearest measure of how much cash a brokerage has tied up in its own growth. Rising DSO with flat volume means collection is slipping rather than the business expanding.
