Freight glossary / Pricing and rates

What is All in rate in freight?

An all in rate is a single quoted number that already includes line haul, fuel surcharge, and any agreed accessorials. It is the simplest form of quote and the easiest to compare, which is why spot freight is usually transacted this way. The risk is that anything not anticipated at booking has no agreed price when it happens.

Also called: all-in, all in.
