The carrier Select for Shipment puts on the load

A Tai booking is the carrier quote on Truckload Quoting, stored with the dispatcher and the rate.

Select for Shipment

On Truckload Quoting, you open a carrier and click Select for Shipment to put that carrier on the shipment. Add New Carrier Quote looks the carrier up by MC or by name and takes the dispatcher name, phone, email, and quote amount.

If the carrier is disabled, Tai shows a warning and turns Select for Shipment off.

Offer Rate

Load Board Postings takes an offer rate, and Tai stores it as a shipment reference named Offer Rate. Include Trailer Size and Auto Repost sit in that same section. The posting comes off once a carrier is on the shipment.

The carrier FreightScout books

FreightScout's booked carrier is the one Select for Shipment puts on the shipment, after your routing guide and the carriers who have run the lane. Add New Carrier Quote is where the dispatcher name, phone, email, and quote amount are taken. The quote amount stops at the max pay the broker sets, and FreightScout never goes above it. If that truck falls off, one click re-covers the load on every channel and Select for Shipment puts the next carrier on. Cover writes the booked carrier, the agreed rate and the load back. Tai stays the system of record once that carrier is on the shipment.

Questions buyers ask

What if Tai has the carrier disabled?

FreightScout does not book a carrier Tai has disabled. Releasing a carrier that does not clear takes a person, on record.

Can booking run without someone watching?

Booking is supervised by default, and a broker can switch booking to autopilot per team and per action. Every action is logged and reversible.
