What is Cold chain in freight?
The cold chain is the unbroken sequence of temperature controlled handling from origin to destination, covering storage as well as transport. A single gap can spoil product that shows no visible damage. Cold chain freight carries stricter documentation because the proof of compliance is the temperature record rather than the condition on arrival.
