Create Invoice once the POD is attached

Billing a Tai load is Create Invoice, and the POD Required column is what the file has to satisfy.

Connor Miller, Founder and CEO. Last updated 11 October 2026.

Create Invoice

Tai's create invoice doc says you open Accounting, then Create Invoice. The window asks for an invoice date: Pickup Date, Delivery Date, or Today's Date.

On the Create Invoice page, a red warning marks a shipment missing the POD or the BOL the customer's accounting profile requires. A black check replaces it once the file is attached. The POD Required column counts delivery stops of type Drop, Both, and Last Drop.

The file that clears the warning

FreightScout matches the POD to the load. Tai turns the red warning into a black check once that file is attached, and POD Required is counting stops of type Drop, Both, and Last Drop. FreightScout sends the customer invoice with the POD attached, creates the carrier payable, and chases the payment. It does not audit a carrier freight invoice. The billed status and the POD land on that shipment. Create Invoice stays in Tai.
