The margin Lane Analysis already shows
Pricing a McLeod lane starts from the margin you already run, not from a blank rate.

Lane Analysis
McLeod's dispatch page says Lane Analysis shows the margin on each lane and market, and that you can turn those margins into a truckload rate index.
Smart Targets
Version 24.1 adds Smart Targets, set from McLeod MPact's lane pricing analysis, so the target follows the current MPact rate analysis. That release also notes enhancements for quoting and offers. Version 23.1 already put a rate index and a distance calculator in PowerBroker//web.
The draft beside that index
FreightScout drafts from your lane history or the quote tool you already use, set next to the truckload rate index rather than in place of it. Smart Targets keep following MPact. The approved quote is written onto the Lane Analysis record. McLeod stays the system of record for the rate you approve.

Questions buyers ask
What if MPact has no target for the lane?
FreightScout pulls from the quote tool you already use, or from your lane history. It does not invent a rate.
When does the customer see the rate?
After you approve it. Nothing goes out before that, and the rate the customer sees is the one on Lane Analysis.
