Entering the tender at Pick Up Entry

Load building here is an order the floor accepts at Pick Up Entry.

Pick Up Entry

The Version 23.1 release says dispatchers have Pick Up Entry under the New Order button, and they can turn that option on for themselves. PowerBroker//web is where those orders are created and updated.

Version 24.1 adds easier management of EDI tenders in PowerBroker//web.

What FreightScout puts on the order

FreightScout reads the EDI 204, the email, or the PDF for the stops, refs, rates, customer, and equipment that order is about to save. The floor sees the parsed load and says yes before commit. Scout checks the tender against the lane, volume and rate you committed and flags anything outside it before anyone accepts. A second agent checks every built load field by field against the tender. Pick Up Entry is where that built load is written. The order saved there stays the system of record.

Questions buyers ask

What if the reference is wrong?

The entry pauses. FreightScout does not invent a PO. A person confirms before commit.

What else stops the save?

Split or extra stops, a rate the tender did not support, an unreadable attachment, or an unknown customer. Those pause instead of guessing.
