Filling the order from the request

Automated order entry fills customer details, contact info, freight specifications, origin, and destination from the request.

Automated order entry

Aljex's automated order entry page says those fields can be filled in from the request. Smart Autofill suggests values from previous orders, and you can keep a reusable order template.

The tender against those fields

FreightScout reads an EDI 204, an email, or a PDF into customer details, contact info, freight specifications, and the origin and destination. A Smart Autofill suggestion the tender does not support waits. A template you already saved can start an order you run again, and the floor still says yes before that order commits. Automated order entry takes the order FreightScout built. The committed order stays the system of record.

Questions buyers ask

What pauses this entry?

A customer who is not in the file yet, a stop the tender did not list, a rate the tender did not support, or an attachment that cannot be read. The entry pauses instead of guessing.

Who checks the fields?

Scout checks customer details, freight specifications, and the origin and destination against the lane, volume and rate you committed, and flags a mismatch before the order commits.
